The beloved duo of Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, famously known as Chucha and Honey from the hit film Fukrey, is back to create laughter with their upcoming film ‘Rahu-Ketu’. The highly anticipated teaser, released on Thursday, has already struck a chord with audiences, leaving them laughing uncontrollably.
Running 1 minute and 56 seconds, the teaser introduces the comical premise: wherever Pulkit and Varun go, mischief follows. People label them “unlucky,” but the teaser reveals a twist—they are not truly unlucky. Instead, they arrive at the right moment to deliver cosmic justice, punishing those guilty of wrongdoing.
Fans couldn’t contain their excitement. Many exclaimed online, “Our Chucha and Honey are finally back!” One viewer noted, “Finally, a proper comedy film in Bollywood.” Others have already dubbed it a potential blockbuster, though some joked it might carry its own “Rahu-Ketu” twist.
Cosmic Comedy in Full Swing
Directed by Vipul Vig under the banners of G Studioz and BeLive Productions, the film stars Shalini Pandey in the lead role. Veteran actors Chunky Pandey, Amit Sial, and Manurishi Chaddha play pivotal characters. Packed with comedy sequences reminiscent of Fukrey, the film promises hearty laughter. The first poster, featuring a red chili and blue lemon, hinted at the film’s quirky tone and release schedule.
More Than Just Comedy
Producer Suraj Singh of BeLive Productions emphasized that Rahu-Ketu is more than just a comedy. “While it will make audiences laugh, the film also touches upon culture and beliefs, delivering meaningful messages alongside humor,” he said.
Rahu-Ketu is scheduled to release on 16 January 2026, giving fans a new reason to kick off the new year with laughter.
