Ujjain, October 31, 2025:
The training session for 280 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors of the Ghattiya Assembly Constituency was successfully conducted at the Janpad Sabha Hall, Ujjain, as part of the preparations for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll.
As per the directives of Electoral Registration Officer Rajaram Karjare, the training was held in two sessions—from 11 AM to 2 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM. The session was led by Chief Master Trainer Dashrath Singh Goyal, along with Apoorva Sharma, Kishore Heerawat, Deependra Tiwari, and Dilshad Qureshi, who provided detailed guidance to participants.
During the training, officials explained that, as per the Election Commission’s schedule, BLOs are required to conduct door-to-door verification of voters within their respective polling areas. They must fill out the enumeration forms, link the data with the 2003 voter list, and submit the completed records to the Electoral Registration Officer. Based on the compiled enumeration forms, a revised draft electoral roll will be published, followed by the disposal of claims and objections, culminating in the publication of the final voter list.
Naib Tehsildar Roopkala Parmar and Election Supervisor Manoj Parmar addressed the gathering, urging BLOs to carry out the SIR exercise with utmost sincerity and accuracy. They emphasized the principle — “No eligible voter should be left out, and no ineligible name should be added.”
Officials expressed confidence that with collective effort and dedication, a clean, accurate, and comprehensive voter list will be prepared within the stipulated timeframe.
